Part -1

George, the dealer, handed out the cards. James and Richard made the small and big blind bets, respectively. Pre-flop betting began.
"Raise" said Michael, putting in a nickel.
    "Call." said George.
    "Call." said James.
"Raise." said Richard, as he bet a dime.
The flop was a king of diamonds, a 7 of clubs, and a queen of hearts.
"I have no idea what is going on." said Mary, as she watched the footage from the drone.
    "Just keep watching." replied Ben.
    "Check." said James.
    "Check." said Richard.
"Bet." said Michael, putting in three cents.
    "Call."
    "Call."
"Raise." said Richard, putting in two dimes.
The turn was an ace of hearts.
    "Check."
George looked at his cards. A 10 of clubs and an 8 of spades. I could still get lucky with the river... but is it worth twenty cents? Probably not.
    "Fold." said George.
"I still have no idea what's happening." said Mary.
    "Call." said Richard.
    "Call."
    "Call." said Michael.
The river was a 2 of clubs.
James looked at his cards. A 6 of diamonds and a 2 of diamonds. No more cards are coming, and I've got the second worst possible hand in the bag. Oh, snap.
    "Fold." said James.
"Raise." said Richard, betting a quarter.
Michael looked at his cards. Two aces. Darn it, a pair of ones! What good is that? Especially against Richard, the master poker player! I don't stand a chance!
Not knowing he could make a three-of-a-kind out of aces using the community cards, and also unaware that aces were better than a king, he said "Fold."
    Ben burst into laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha...HAHAHAHAHAhahahaha..."
    "What's so funny?" inquired Mary.
Ben just couldn't control himself. "HAHAhaha...HAHAhahaha..."
    "Are you okay?"
    "hahaha...HAhahaha...hahaha...haha...haa...I'm done."
"Took you long enough. Now please explain why you laughed so hard you cried."
"I could, but we'd be here for awhile."
    "Never mind, then."

Part -2

"So, are we going to follow him?" asked Mary.
"No, definitely not," answered Ben, "I don't want to−"
"Risk causing a time paradox or collapsing the space-time continuum or creating a whitehole in another universe or some other crazy theoretical consequence of messing with the past. I get it. Get your invisible drone ready."
Ben prepared his cloaked drone and selected the program he had made earlier that day just for this. The drone flew up into the casino and to the table where Ben's granduncle was sitting.
Michael Brooks was playing Texas Hold 'Em with some former classmates. He hadn't played Texas Hold 'Em that much; in fact he hadn't played card games in general that much. Michael had been practicing with fake money, and now he was ready for the real deal.

  ...or so he thought.

Part -3

"Setting destination to Paradise, Nevada on September 17, 1994 at 8:00:00PM" said Ben.
"Why are we going there?" asked Mary.
"Has he not told you about that night?" replied Ben.
    "No."
"Oh, well in that case, you'll get to witness it firsthand before he tells you the story!"
    "Alright!"
Ben pushed the button, and there was a bright flash of olive light. They stepped out of the box, and they found themselves in front of a casino.
"Wow!" exclaimed Mary, looking around, "I've never been to Las Vegas before."
"We're not in Las Vegas," said Ben, "We're in Paradise, an officially unincorporated town in Nevada that borders Las Vegas." Mary rolled her eyes.
"My granduncle will be here soon," said Ben, "He has banana yellow hair, a snake tattoo, is likely wearing a shirt with"
"Is that him?" asked Mary, pointing to a man that had banana yellow hair, a snake tattoo, and a shirt with
"That is very likely." answered Ben.

Part 1

"Kids! Kids!" Mr. Brooks came running out of a house toward Ben and Mary, shouting at them, "What are you doing outside? I told you not to come out until the smoke cleared up!"
"I apologize, Father. It's my fault," said Ben, "I wanted to go outside to play, and I brought Mary along with me."
Mr. Brooks said, "In that case, Mary, if your brother asks you to do something that you know you shouldn't do, say no, okay?"
    Mary replied, "Yes sir."
"Alright, now you two come back inside." said Mr. Brooks.
Mr. Brooks turned around and started walking back toward the house. Ben and Mary followed.
Mary whispered to Ben, "Either I'm going crazy, or we seriously messed something up. Did your dad just call you my brother?"
Ben replied, "Yes, I heard him say that as well. I think we should go along with it and act like everything is normal until we get a chance to fix this problem."
    Mary asked, "You sure?"
    "Yes."

Part 0

"Would you like to return to the present?" asked Ben.
    "Definitely. I'm exhausted." answered Mary.
"Setting destination to Seattle, Washington on June 10, 2019 at 3:55:08PM" said Ben.
Ben pushed the button, and there was a bright flash of olive light. When they stepped out of the box, there was little light, the air was smokey, and sky was red.
"We did something wrong, didn't we?" said Mary.
"That is highly probable." said Ben.
